Venue Policies and Protocols
The venue is now named bp Pulse LIVE Arena (formerly known as Resorts World Arena).

This is a large venue, with security protocol that is treated the same as if you are at an airport. Treat it as such, and make sure your entire gym/studio families understand this is a matter that we take very seriously. The venue information and policies for you and your families are HERE.

Venue policies for bags, luggage, prams, water bottles apply as linked above except for the following Special Notes for Legacy events:

Athlete backpacks are allowed as long as they're standard size backpacks for use by the athlete. 

Water bottles are allowed but must be empty on arrival. Refill stations are in the building. See the map linked on this page above for details. 

Luggage is not allowed in the venue. Do not argue with security about this. Plan ahead. Bag drop services are available at South Car Park 3, chargeable at £15. 

External food is not allowed. However, if you have a baby, documented allergies, or specific medical requirement with food, our venue team is generally willing to make common sense small allowance. Do not abuse this privilege the venue has allowed or we will lose it for everyone. 

Legacy expects all patrons to be respectful of security, venue, and event staff at all times, including knowing and following the above policies. 

The Golden Hour is Legacy's priority access entry for athletes and coaches of teams that are due to check into warm up at 7:59AM or earlier on Saturday or Sunday. Athletes and Coaches in the Golden Hour will enter through the Lakeside Entrance doors, which are just to the right of the Main Entry doors. This area is ONLY open to the coaches and athletes for Golden Hour teams during the first hour of each day. It is not a spectator entrance at anytime, and will be closed to everyone after the Golden Hour.

Dream Extreme and Alpha & Omega Warm Up Protocol:

Check In to Warm Up - 5 mins

Station 1: (Cheer) 4 mins with space for jumping jacks etc, hard concrete floor, no mats / (Dance) 4 mins with space for jumping jacks etc, hard concrete floor, no dance floor

Station 2: (Cheer) 8 mins on 4 rolls non-sprung cheer carpet / (Dance) 8 mins on approx half-sized dance floor, non-sprung, lino direct on concrete floor.

Station 3: (Cheer) 8 mins on full size sprung cheer floor / (Dance) 8 mins on full sized dance floor, non-sprung, lino floor direct on concrete, taped with both grey and black tape - see floor specs section below for details. Music table present.

Transfer: 7 mins to transfer from NEC building (Hall 1) to bp pulse LIVE Arena building.

On Deck: 10 mins in holding, prior to performance.

EXCEPTION - NOVICE TEAMS ONLY ON SUNDAY HAVE A DIFFERENT WARM UP CYCLE:

Station 1: 10 mins on 4 rolls non-sprung cheer carpet.

Station 2: 10 mins on full size non-sprung cheer carpet floor.

Transfer: 7 mins to transfer from NEC building (Hall 1) to bp pulse LIVE Arena building.

On Deck: 10 mins in holding, prior to performance.

We recommend you direct families to make their own spectator ticket purchases UNLESS you have a Frequent Flyer Discount that grants group spectator order discounts (i.e.- this is your second or third Legacy event this season). Info for both options is below:

• Individual spectator tickets are on sale on our website now. Please ensure families know which day ticket to purchase. 
• Group spectator ticket order protocol is available here. 

Legacy will post your athlete wristbands and/or your GROUP spectator wristbands to you in advance for free, but you MUST request this in advance. (Note: Individual spectator orders are barcode receipts that we scan on the door to issue wristbands in person.) All orders are sent in one batch closer to the event date. To request free postage for either your athlete wristbands or your group spectator ticket order, read all of the policies and follow the process noted here. 

This event runs three "arenas", or competition floors within pb pulse LIVE, and warmup in Hall 1 of NEC. The competition floors will run concurrently, and will be called FREEDOM ARENA, GLORY ARENA, and HONOUR ARENA.

FREEDOM ARENA

• Cheer Floor- Standard 9-panel sprung floor. Center will not be marked. 

GLORY ARENA

• Cheer Floor- Standard 9-panel sprung floor. Center will not be marked. Elevated stage.

HONOUR ARENA

• Cheer Floor- Standard 9-panel non-sprung floor (novice teams only). Center will not be marked. Elevated stage.
• Dance Floor- Dance floor laid on top of elevated stage at this event. 8 panels, 2m wide each, laid front to back, black floor taped with black tape. Center is a line. Given that some teams perform abroad with 10 panels rather than 8, the dance floor will have a second set of tape (grey), to indicate "10 panels", 1.6m wide each. Center is a line. There is a white border around the floor. No penalty applies for dancers performing on this border, as it is just cosmetic for clean stage lines.

Greenlight is Legacy's sytem for promoting safeguarding in the sport. 'Greenlight Verification' means Legacy has verified appropriate DBS/PVG documentation and an ID photo for the named coach, giving them a green sticker on their coaches badge. Coaches for whom we have not been able to verify these will have a red sticker on their badge.

Note that University Programmes do not need to submit anything for Greenlight, as this is not required for University teams, but we do appreciate if you can upload an ID photo for each coach.

Junior Coaches and/or Coaches working with only Adult athletes are also exempt from Greenlight and for these individuals, programmes should add a note to their 'Staff' record in RegChamp to state they are a Junior Coach or an Adult Athlete Only Coach, so we know to give them an exempt white sticker instead of a red one.

A lot of the event specific information you need for your programme before and during the event can be found in the DOCUMENTS tab in RegChamp. You’ll find things like preliminary and final schedules here, awards schedules, maps of the venue and traffic flow, your registered teams, rosters, change request forms, and more. To access your Documents tab:

• Log into RegChamp. 
• From your dashboard, Click the Event ID button on the top right to access your Registration Area for your specific event. 
• Then click the "Docs, Reports & Results" tab.

As per the timings indicated above, you can submit these to notify us of changes you need made to your event entry / schedule.

It is MUCH easier for us to track and manage these when they are submitted via RegChamp, so please use this method rather than emailing us.

To submit a Change Request Form:

1. Login to RegChamp.
2. From your dashboard, click the Event ID button on the top right to access your Registration Area for your specific event.
3. On the "Docs, Reports & Results" tab, at the bottom left is a text link for 'Change Request Form'.
4. Fill out the form with details of your request. Once submitted, it will appear below the text box on this page with a status of 'Pending' (we've haven't actioned it yet), 'Completed' (it's been actioned) or 'Declined' (we've reviewed it, but cannot make this change).
